The Digital Sales Manager is essential in steering and enhancing the company's digital sales initiatives. This leadership role is designed to manage and empower a team of digital sales executives to not only meet but exceed sales targets, thereby boosting revenue and elevating customer satisfaction. The manager will be pivotal in crafting strategic sales plans, leading team efforts, and integrating innovative sales technologies, all while maintaining a keen focus on optimising the customer journey and ensuring a competitive stance in the digital marketplace.

Responsibilities

- Strategic Vision Execution:
  - Develop and implement robust digital sales strategies that align with the company's overarching business goals.
  - Analyse market trends and customer insights to set attainable yet ambitious sales targets.

 

- Team Leadership and Development:
  - Recruit, train, and mentor digital sales executives.
  - Foster a motivating and inclusive environment to aid in professional growth and high performance.
  - Establish and oversee performance metrics to ensure team accountability and achievement.

 

- Sales Process Management:
  - Enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the sales process through continuous optimisation and integration of new technologies.
  - Manage daily operations and team quotas with a structured approach to forecast management.

 

- Customer Relationship Management:
  - Ensure the delivery of exceptional service throughout the sales process.
  - Develop and maintain strategic relationships with key stakeholders, including C-suite executives, to understand and meet business needs.

 

- Collaborative Initiatives:
  - Lead cross-functional teams comprising Solutions Consultants, Specialists, Success Resources, Partners, and Marketing professionals to strategize on account management.
  - Work closely with sales operations and other departments to align digital sales strategies with broader business objectives.

Skills and Experience

Strategic Planning and Forecasting:
  - Demonstrated ability in developing strategic sales plans and performing thorough market and competitor analyses.
  - Proficient in forecasting, setting, and managing sales targets.

 

- Sales Team Leadership:
  - Proven track record of successfully leading and inspiring sales teams.
  - Strong focus on professional development and team motivation.

 

- Performance Management:
  - Expertise in setting KPIs and conducting performance reviews to ensure high team performance and accountability.

 

- Operational Efficiency:
  - Experience in optimising sales processes and implementing new sales methodologies and technologies.

 

- Relationship Management:
  - Strong capability in building and maintaining relationships with key business executives and stakeholders.
  - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to act as a trusted advisor to clients and team members.
