The Global Account Director will spearhead our efforts in nurturing and expanding our engagements with key global clients. By serving as the primary liaison, the successful candidate will ensure that our clients' strategic objectives align with our offerings, thereby fostering long-term business relationships and driving growth.

 

 

Salary - Up to £160,000 OTE

Responsibilities

Account Management: Forge and maintain robust relationships with key stakeholders across global accounts. Understand and anticipate client needs to align our solutions with their business goals.


Strategic Planning: Collaborate across departments to craft and implement detailed account strategies that support client objectives and company goals. Identify opportunities for service expansion and lead initiatives to capture these.


Sales and Revenue Generation: Meet or exceed sales targets through strategic sales activities. Lead negotiations, manage pricing strategies, and oversee contract renewals. Utilise upsell and cross-sell tactics to enhance account profitability.


Customer Advocacy: Serve as the client's trusted advisor, providing strategic insights and guidance. Champion the client's needs within the company to ensure their goals are prioritised and met.


Risk Management: Oversee account health, addressing concerns proactively to mitigate risks. Develop contingency plans to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction and loyalty.


Performance Tracking:  Define and monitor KPIs related to account management. Regularly report on progress, challenges, and opportunities to stakeholders and clients.

Skills and Experience

- Experience in account management, business development, or sales, preferably within a global or multinational organisation.
- Familiarity with large enterprise SaaS software sales, especially with Big 4 Accounting clients, is advantageous.
- Understanding of international business practises and global market dynamics.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence decision-makers.
- Strategic and problem-solving mindset, focused on results and business goals.
- Knowledge of current industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies.
