Working Pattern - 37.5 hours per week 

 

We are seeking a motivated and results-driven New Business Sales Manager to join our dynamic team at Ideagen. This role is essential in driving our growth strategy by identifying and engaging potential clients, fostering meaningful relationships, and ultimately closing deals that contribute to our revenue objectives.

The ideal candidate will be adept at navigating the sales process, from lead generation to closing, while also collaborating across departments to ensure a seamless experience for our clients.

Responsibilities

- Identify and research potential clients using various strategies such as networking, cold calling, and leveraging platforms like LinkedIn.
  
- Deliver engaging presentations on our products to prospective clients. Organise and lead meetings to discuss client requirements and how Ideagen can meet those needs effectively.
  
- Negotiate contract terms and conditions while working toward closing sales transactions that meet or exceed set targets.
  
- Stay informed on industry trends, market developments, and competitor activities to adapt sales strategies that maintain a competitive edge.
  
- Prepare detailed reports on sales activities, revenue generation, and expenses. Analyse sales data to identify opportunities for improvement and monitor performance against sales quotas.
  
- Work collaboratively with marketing, product development, and other departments to ensure that sales strategies are aligned with overall business goals.
  
- Engage in continuous learning through professional publications, educational opportunities, and active participation in relevant professional organisations to enhance your knowledge and skills in sales.

Skills and Experience

- Proven Sales Experience: A track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas, preferably with experience in B2B sales.
  
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication abilities, with a strong capacity to persuade and respond to client needs.
  
- Negotiation Skills: Proven strong negotiation skills essential for closing deals and securing advantageous contracts.
  
- Analytical Skills: Competence in analysing sales data and market trends to inform strategic decisions.
  
- Adaptability: Ability to adjust to changing market dynamics and rapidly learn about new products.
  
- Technology Proficiency: Familiarity with CRM software, data analysis tools, and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
