The Senior Management Acountant role at Ideagen is one that leads with the business in mind. Although this individual has excellent financial knowledge to help with the stat and tax reporting, they are primarily focused on how to help the business to drive both the top and bottom line. This role is key to the Finance team in a newly created function and will be involved in developing and driving effective management reporting and control processes not from their desk but out in the business.

• Preparation of monthly management accounts including full responsibility for the Group's P&L and detailed variance analysis
• Work closely with different regions to fully understand their P&L and be able to create meaningful information for wider stakeholders in the business
• Monthly analysis of actual costs against the budget and prior month understanding the drivers behind any variances and partner specific groups within the business with clear communication on these drivers
• Acting as a main point of contact for auditors, preparing lead schedules and ensuring a smooth audit
• Work with the finance team to develop ingenious automated and controlled finance processes
• Fully support team members to create the most efficient and effective finance function
• Deliver on global initiatives to enable business improvement

• You are a qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA or ACA) with prior experience in group finance function
• Strong communication skills to influence management and can present financial information to non-finance stakeholders
• You are keen to work with both management and financial reporting as it gives you a full breadth of your role
• You have a real focus on detail and can truly leverage Excel to its full potential
• You are never happy with status quo and are always looking for better ways of doing things whether that is within finance or overall business processes
