Responsibilities
- Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a wide range of commercial agreements in line with business requirements
- Providing clear, timely, and pragmatic legal and contractual advice to internal stakeholders
- Identifying contractual and legal risks and supporting the implementation of effective mitigation strategies
- Managing, reviewing, and updating standard form contracts and legal templates
- Liaising with internal teams and external parties to support contract negotiations and relationship management
- Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives within the legal team, including process development and implementation
- Supporting the business in maintaining compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and internal policies
- Delivering legal and contractual training to key stakeholders where required
Skills and Experience
- You hold a law degree or equivalent legal qualification
- You have experience working with commercial contracts, ideally in a business-focused environment
- You demonstrate strong negotiation skills with a practical, solution-oriented approach
- You communicate clearly and effectively, both in writing and verbally, with a high level of attention to detail
- You work collaboratively and build positive relationships across teams and with a variety of stakeholders
- You are organised, adaptable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities
- You bring enthusiasm, curiosity, and a genuine interest in developing your expertise in commercial law
