As an Associate Sales Engineer, you'll play a key role in supporting the technical side of the sales process, working alongside Account Executives and Account Managers to demonstrate how Ideagen's solutions solve real business challenges. This is an excellent entry point into a Sales Engineering career, offering structured training, mentorship and hands-on experience with customers, technology and solution consulting.

You'll be supported by experienced Sales Engineers and Sales Engineering leadership, developing your technical, commercial and customer-facing skills while building expertise across Ideagen's product portfolio.

• Support discovery conversations, product demonstrations and proof-of-concept activities for prospective and existing customers.
• Partner closely with Account Executives and Account Managers to understand customer requirements and help position the right solutions.
• Prepare demonstration environments, presentations and supporting materials for customer engagements.
• Develop knowledge of Ideagen's products and how they address customer challenges across EHS, Quality and Compliance.
• Learn and apply Ideagen's sales methodologies, qualification processes and competitive positioning strategies.
• Gather customer and prospect feedback and share insights with colleagues to support product and sales improvements.
• Utilise approved AI tools and technologies to enhance preparation, productivity and customer engagement activities.

• Prior experience in a technical, customer-facing, pre-sales or related role, or a recent graduate with a strong interest in technology and sales.
• Strong communication and presentation skills, with the confidence to engage with customers and stakeholders.
• Curious and motivated to learn how software solutions solve complex business challenges.
• Ability to build strong working relationships and collaborate effectively across teams.
• Comfortable learning technical concepts and explaining them clearly to different audiences.
• Exposure to enterprise software, SaaS or technology solutions would be beneficial, but is not essential.
• Experience within regulated industries such as EHS, Quality or Compliance is advantageous, though full training will be provided.
